Come on out!

Girls Girls Girls is one of my favorite improv troupes in Austin. These fabulous ladies of craft and comedy make up full length musicals on the spot! Every summer they invite a boys to join them for a show. This week I’m that boy and I feel wonderfully intimidated, excited and thrilled.
Here’s their write up:
Girls Girls Girls presents The Boys of Summer
Men are funny. Really funny. And to celebrate that fact, GGG will be welcoming a different male guest star onstage each week for the eagerly-awaited return of The Boys of Summer. For seven Saturdays in July and August, Girls Girls Girls will perform its signature format — a musical comedy created on the spot from an audience suggestion, complete with storyline, songs, and multiple characters — joined by some of the city’s best male improvisers.
Saturdays at 8:00pm
July 12 through August 23
General Admission $10
Tickets available online or at the Hideout box office 30 minutes before the show

also have some beer and snacks here to aid in our merriment. Anything goes, so be prepared for some fun!

Monthly editor Evan Smith, authors Owen Egerton and Amanda Ward, the soup
peddler David Ansel, and many more Austin celebrities and authors here to
share their love for banned books. Stop by or stay for the entire day’s
festivities!
